“Because the greatest part of a road trip isn’t arriving at your destination. It’s all the wild stuff that happens along the way!” – emma chase
Two photographers on a road trip, that turned into one big adventure. This is how it all began.
After a lot of thinking and planning, my amazing photographer friend Clare and I decided to head on a road trip through the southern part of South Africa- a road trip to make a difference. To showcase our rhino, the amazing men and women on the ground and our beautiful wildlife. We packed up a surf board (yes, it did fit into our tiny car- sort of anyways), bush clothes, our cameras and started driving. Our journey was taking us from the most southern point of Africa to the rolling hills of the eastern cape, where we encountered wild rhinos, hurt rhinos, the most beautiful wildlife, and the first K9 anti poaching dog, starting out on one of the private game reserves we stayed in. This trip would also mark the beginning of the Boots on the Ground story.
